Incident – Sucking on a date Dream Explanation — A woman said to Imam Ibn Sirin: “I saw myself in a dream sucking on a date and giving my neighbor the rest to eat.” Imam Ibn Sirin replied: ‘You will help your neighbor by performing a little deed.” On the following day, the woman washed her neighbour’s garment.

The Moon of the First Night of the Lunar Month Dream Explanation — If a person sees the crescent of the first night of the lunar month, but in reality it is not the first day of the lunar month, one of the following interpretations could be given : (a) he will been entrusted with someduty pertaining to governing of the land or country, (9) a child will be born in his home,(c) a missing person will return, (d) some new event will occur.
An Incomplete Athaan During any Month other than Hajj Dream Explanation — An incomplete athaan during any month other than Thil-Hijjah means he will steal something from which he will not profit a tall and, instead, he will become popular as a chief.
An Incomplete Athaan During the Month of Hajj Dream Explanation — Seeing oneself calling out an incomplete athaan during the months of Hajj suggests that the observer of the dream is among the good and pious people. It could also mean he will proceed for Hajj but will not be able to complete it.
Hearing the Athaan in any Month Other than Thil-Hijjah Dream Explanation — If the athaan is heard in any other month besides the months of Hajj it means he will impart the knowledge of Deen through discourses and lectures. The same applies to athaan heard in streets and lanes.

Incident – The Effect of a Dream’s Meaning Dream Explanation — During a pilgrimage to Mecca, a sheikh was told in a dream that he would die on such and such date. When he returned home, he held that dream to himself and waited for the time to come. Once he passed that date stated in his dream, he waited a few more days, then told someone about it, saying: “I would have hot told you about this dream, had the date not passed.” The person replied: “Perhaps you miscalculated the date, or maybe it is a confused dream.” After returning to his home, the sheikh died during that same night. This is the meaning of Prophet Muhammad saying: “A dream sits on the wing of a bird and will not take effect unless it is related to someone.”
Arabic months Dream Explanation — As for the fifth lunar month, known in Arabic as Jamada-al-Awwal, seeing a dream during this month means that one should slow down or scrutinize his buying and selling, or it could mean that he may lose his daughter or wife, for it is in this month that the daughter of Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, Fatima died. Fasting during the tenth day of the lunar month of Muharram in a dream represents asceticism, piety, renouncing the world or attending the pilgrimage to Mecca.
